We made a couple of trips to the French Quarter and enjoyed the beignets and chickory coffee. On the corner of Bourbon St and St. Philip St is Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar, built between 1722 and 1732.  it is one of the oldest surviving structures in New Orleans.
